Earnest Performance was established in 2014 by veteran shock specialist Brannon Earnest.  The Mooresville, NC company offers a full-service in-house shock program including everything from sales and service to at-track consulting.  Please check out our services page for more detailed information on the many services provided by Earnest Performance.

Over the past four years, Earnest Performance shocks have been found on the racecars of more than 100 different drivers, including Kyle Busch, Ryan Preece, Harrison Burton, Bubba Pollard and more.  They’ve helped driver to key wins, including the Snowball Derby, All-American 400 and Winter Showdown as well as NASCAR Whelen Modified Championships and Speedweeks Championships.

For the Earnest Performance owner, racing has always been his passion.  It started when he worked alongside his Uncle Jimbo on a Street Stock at the local dirt tracks of Central Arkansas.  From there, Earnest was hooked, and he started racing go-karts, winning multiple races and track championships.

At the age of 21, Earnest switched gears and began working on dirt late models, traveling throughout the Midwest.  He took his first official job in racing with a dirt late model team as a crew member overseeing the shock and tire program.  

In 2004, Earnest took a leap of faith and headed to east North Carolina and became a tire specialist for the Morgan Dollar NASCAR Camping World Truck team. As he continued to exhibit skills and knowledge, Earnest accepted a shock specialist position for MB2’s NASCAR Xfinity program.  MB2 became Ginn Racing and when they ceased operation, Earnest moved on to Hall Of Fame Racing as a shock specialist.

Earnest continued to gain experience, working with Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing and Turner Motorsports and there was no doubt he knew how to create a shock program that could win.  From there, Earnest moved back to the roots of racing, accepting a position as the Short Track Market Manager for JRI Shocks. Here he helped some of the top names in short track racing earn countless wins and championships.

Through his Mooresville based business, Earnest continues to help short track racers across the country succeed.  He is committed to one-on-one service and helping customers find a successful shock combination.
